Joshua Dement

Funeral Director and Certified Preneed Consultant

"I am a Randolph County native, graduate of Sloan-Hendrix High School, and an alumnus of Crowley's Ridge College. I have been a funeral director with McNabb Funeral Home since 2015 and have been in the funeral industry since 2013. As well, I have received the Certified Preneed Consultant designation from the National Funeral Directors Association and serve Randolph County as a Deputy Coroner. I consider it a great honor to serve the families who entrust their final arrangements to our care.

I am married to the former Kristie Rapert and we are blessed with twins, Caleb and Cayleigh. I also serve as the minister of the Pyburn Street Church of Christ and offer officiant services to those families in need.

I am proud to be a part of the McNabb Funeral Home Family and stand ready to assist you with the dignity, respect, and professionalism that is deserved by all."

Funeral Director

"I have been a licensed funeral director for 42 years with our firm and it is an honor to help families through a difficult time in their life by providing guidance and comfort at that time. The trust and confidence in us is a rewarding benefit of being a funeral director. Our service is not measured by gold, but by the golden rule to those we serve."

Funeral Director

"I have always enjoyed working with people. In my earlier years, I worked as an outside salesperson for an industrial supply house. My wife and I went to bible school, where I became a pastor. I worked as a pastor, as well as an assistance chaplain, at a maximum-security prison. From there, I stepped into working for Gregg Funeral Home. People need hope in very hard times, but sometimes they just need someone to be with them and to really care. I care."

"I have been involved in funeral service for 38 years. I cannot explain how blessed I have been and the friendships I have developed while serving others. Compassion cannot be faked! People know when you truly care and their gratefulness is more rewarding than anything else in the world. This has been a great ministry for me."
