Obituary

Jonesboro- George Kelley Cooper, 69, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born September 22, 1952 in Trumann. George serviced in country proudly in the United States Army.  He worked as a handyman and in refrigeration and HVAC. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing cards.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Boling; his children, Amanda Pollard (Roger), Kelsey Cooper (Jocelyn) and Patrick Cooper; mother of his children, Mary Cooper;  grandsons, Zach Pollard (Alaina), Tanner Cooper, Jacob Pollard and Jude Cooper all of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Bentley Hampton, Maci Pollard, Baylee Pollard and Drake Pollard; siblings, Mary Griffin (Lynn), Aaron Cooper, Pam King (Rock) and Angelique Cooper and fur babies, Lilly and Roxy.

He was also preceded in death by his father, John Cooper and a brother, Michael Cooper.

A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with words of remembrance at 6:30 p.m.
