Zeke Miles Hensley, 17, of Brookland passed away, Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his home. He was born August 23, 2008 in Jonesboro. He was a junior at Brookland High School, where he was a member of the senior high football team. He loved hunting, fishing, art and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his great-grandparents Michael and Della Ginger, who raised him and his beloved sister, Zoie Hensley, his mother Katie Burrow (Dustin), his father, Billy Hensley, maternal grandparents Sheila Crafton and Mike Greenway, paternal grandmother Peggy Pruitt and many other loving family and friends.

A celebration of Zeke’s life will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Brookland at 3 pm with Steve Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Log Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the time of the service at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brock Brewer, Keegan King, Blake Hatcher, Blake Coleman, Andrew McDuffee and Gunner Pulliam. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Bearcat Football Team and Coaches.
