Pocahontas- Zachery Payden "Vandy" Vandergriff, 22, was taken tragically in an ATV accident on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Zachery was born December 4, 1993 in Jonesboro, AR to Jessie Vandergriff Jr. and Rene Tunstall Vandergriff. He is survived by his mother Rene Vandergriff of Pocahontas; father Jessie Vandergriff Jr of Baldwin, IL; sister Chelsea Vandergriff of Baldwin, IL; grandparents Charles and Sandra Lambert of Pocahontas; great grandmother Ethel Vandergriff Clements of Ravenden Springs; uncle Dewayne and aunt Terri Cresap of Pocahontas; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Levon Tunstall, Jessie Vandergriff Sr.; great grandparents Homer and Irene Tyer. Services will be at McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00pm with Carl Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers: Justin Myers, Christian Coley, Seth Cresap, Nathan Morris, Zac Conner and Brandon Sullinger.
