Willie "Bill" White, 78, of Marion, formerly of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Somerset Senior Living at Premier nursing home in North Little Rock.

Bill was born January 24, 1943 to LW and Lola White in Bono. Bill was raised in the Jonesboro area attending North School and graduating from Jonesboro High School.

Bill is preceded in death by: his wife Jackie, his parents LW and Lola White; brothers Charles, Ronnie (Rachel), Richard, and very special Aunt Maudie and Uncle Floyd Hanson.

Bill is survived by daughter Terrie Besier and husband Frank of Sherwood; son Kevin White of Marion; grandchildren, Brandon White, Ryk Moore, Bryce Moore, and Rebecca Besier and one great granddaughter, Juniper Moore. He is also survived by his beloved sister Carolyn Stroud (Earl) and brothers Dan White and Paul White (Vickie) of Jonesboro, and Ken White (Elizabeth) of Folsom, California and a sister-in-law, Judy White.

Bill retired from the US Post Office and loved working at St. Jude Hospital as a security officer after retirement. Bill was quite the athlete as a young man playing basketball, baseball and umpiring American Legion Baseball and his daughter\u0027s softball games.

Services will be held at a later date this Spring. Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
