Willie Mae Thomas, 105, passed away February 23, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Willie was born September 20, 1912 in Pocahontas, AR to the late Steve and Fannie Barnett Shaver.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mont Thomas; two daughters, Leona Starkweather and Shirley Anderson; four grandchildren; and one sister.

She is survived by daughter, LaRue Wilson of Pocahontas; son, Steve (Linda) Thomas of Shelbyville, TX; grandchildren, Lanny (Karen) James of Pocahontas, Monte (Becky) Thomas of Galveston, TX, Steven (Melissa) Thomas of Conroe, TX, Tammy (Grant) Harpel of Bloomington, IL, Stephen (Rita) Anderson of Rockford, IL; 18 Great Grandchildren; and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 PM -1 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. with Bill Goode officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Mike Roberts, Mack Earley, Jeff Spencer, Monte Thomas, Steven Thomas, and Kevin Late.
