Jonesboro- Joann McCrackin, 82, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Ridgecrest Health and Rehab.

She was born August 31, 1937 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late William and Vera Osborn Mize. She was self-employed interior designer.

She is survived by her son, Lee McCrackin (Tamara) of Bay; four brothers, Bill Mize and Raymond Mize of Indiana, Billy Platz of Monette, James Platz of Lake City; a sister, Barbara Keiter of Monette; grandchildren, Joseph McCrackin of Jonesboro, Paige Maurizi of Bay, Gabrille Johnson of Jonesboro, Thomas McCrackin, Jacob McCrackin and Christian Manza all of Brookland and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, G.L. McCrackin and six sisters and two brothers.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Horner officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

The family will received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, December 13, 2019 at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Lee McCrackin, Joseph McCrackin, Thomas McCrackin and Jacob McCrackin.
