DALTON-William Woodrow "Woody" King, 89, died Monday. His parents, a daughter, Vicki McDonald, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen King, a son, Charles King of Memphis, TN, two daughters, Cindy Stoker of Houston, TX and Kelly Thompson of Cherokee Village, a sister, Vivian Davis of Peoria, IL, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10AM Friday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Ron Berry officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery with military honors provided by Promberger-Traw Post 4556.. Visitation will be 5-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
