Jonesboro- William Walter Gammon, 94, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1915 in Quitman to the late William and Amanda Gammon. William served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a lifetime resident of the Egypt and Jonesboro area.
