William "Bill" Tell Tarlton, 92 of Cove, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away September 15, 2021, at his home in Cove, Arkansas.

Bill was born May 18, 1929, to the late Damon Tarlton and Bessie Stephens Tarlton in Pocahontas. He graduated from Pocahontas high school before joining the Air Force. He was happily married to Patsy Gibbons Tarlton for 33 years. He was a salesman for ARKLA Gas. He also preached for different congregations for the last 35 years. Bill also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and built many beautiful items.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Ima Mize, Jewell Thielemier, and Bonnie Washer; brother Doyle Tarlton.

Bill is survived by his wife, Patsy Gibbons Tarlton; children Jan (Alan) Fortney of Maumelle, Larry (Janet) Tarlton of Wynne, Tammy (Ron) Veirs of Franklin, TN, Steve (Ebbie) Tarlton of Green Forest, Lesa (Kirk) Bell of Mineral Springs, Beverly (Jonathan) Welsh of Mena, Carl (Shelia) Pate of Mena and Beth Brainerd of Conway; grandchildren Kim Belt of Conway, Tara Brooks of Fort Worth, TX., Matt Fisher of VA., Paige Parrish of Virginia Beach, VA., Megan Worthern of Nashville, Chad Goss of AZ., Steven Hooper of AL., Kristen Hooper of Van Buren, Daniel Pate of Mena, Jon Pate of Mena, Anna Brainerd, Paul Brainerd and Jack Brainerd of Conway; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside will take place immediately following visitation in the Masonic Cemetery. All services are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
