Obituary
Jonesboro- William Willis Spurlock, 65, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born February 28, 1955 in Jonesboro to the late Mabe and Geraldine "Jerre" Holmes Spurlock. Mr. Spurlock was in the farming business and studied agricultural business at Arkansas State University. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order at ASU. He was a dearly loved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro.
He is survived by his sister, Lisa Miller of St. Louis; nieces, Hannah Miller of Newburgh, NY and Rebecca Grimes (Jake) of St. Louis; a nephew, Adam Miller of St. Louis and many friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Holmes Memorial Scholarship at Arkansas State University, P.O. Box 1990, State University, AR 72467 or charity of the donor's choice.
