Monette- William "Bill" Rolland, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. He was born November 28, 1936 in Searcy to the late William and Alice Pearce Rolland. Bill worked and retired from R K Qualls Farms. He was a member of the Monette First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and collected marbles and arrowheads. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Debbie and Steve Morrison of Jonesboro, Ricky and Connie Rolland, Lisa Fletcher all of Monette and Scott and Whitney Rolland of Leachville; his siblings, Glen Rolland, Larry Rolland and Patsy Redding all of Monette, Freda Vaughn of Montrose, Michigan, Shirley Johnson of Muncie, Indiana, Dwayne "Jack" Rolland of Festus, Missouri, Fred Rolland of Ocala, Florida, Benny Rolland of Farragut, Tennessee and Jerry Rolland of Nixa, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, J. J. Davis, Phillip Davis, Tyler Rolland, Mandy Guiltner, Brad Jeffers, Brittney Lemmons, Casey Shepard, Whitlee Adams, Will Rolland, Brock Rolland and Kai Rolland and eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other family. He was also preceded in death by a half-sister, Lovetrice Helms and a half-brother, Kenneth Rolland. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Rev. Rusty Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Macey Cemetery near Monette. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 pm until time of service at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Phillip Davis, J. J. Davis, Tyler Rolland, Brad Jeffers, Will Rolland and Wyeth Spikes and as honorary pallbearers, Wade Spikes and Brock Rolland.
