Mr. William Ray Riddle of Harrisburg, departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2023, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 93.

He was born February 17, 1930 in Ravenden Springs, AR, the son of the late William and Rosie Riddle.

Ray married Juanita Mink on June 17, 1954 and they enjoyed 69 years together. He attended the Harrisburg First assembly of God and loved fishing, yard work, truck driving and being with friends and family. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, June Riddle and Bobbie Hill, three brothers and five sisters.   He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Juanita Riddle of the home, five children, Danny Riddle (Jane Lee) of Trumann, David Riddle (Paula) of Vanndale, Donna Horsley (Brad) of Harrisburg, Debra Bates (Allen) of Harrisburg, and Dana Riddle of Harrisburg, thirteen grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 10:00 a.m., at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in Birdeye with military honors given by the U.S. Army.  Gene Donaldson will be the Eulogist.  There will be no visitation.  Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg has been entrusted with all arrangements.  Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
