Pocahontas- William James Reed, 54, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Five Rivers Medical Center after a long illness. James was born February 20, 1961 in Pocahontas to William L. and Jane Burk Reed. He is survived by his wife, Alicia Miiller Reed, daughter Nicole Reed, mother Jane Reed and sister Rebecca Reed Summers all of Pocahontas. He was preceded in death by his father William L. Reed, grandparents George and Beulah Rose Reed and Grady and Velma Byrum Burk. There will be a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. The Kingdom Hall is located at 433 Country Club Road in Pocahontas. Since there will be no graveside services, family members are requesting no flowers please. Arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
