Jonesboro- William Andrew Long was born and passed away March 22, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He is survived by his mother, Hailey Drew of Brookland; his father, Andrew Long Jr.; a sister, Anita Jestine Basford; his grandparents, Jerry and Brandi Cater of Jonesboro; Rick and Carolyn Bush of Trumann, Andrew Long Sr. of Hickory Ridge and Marvin Wright; great-grandparents, Steve and Susan Moore of Jonesboro, Bill and Vicki Means of Jonesboro and Johnny and Wanda Cater of Valley View; aunts and uncles, Michelle Hardin of Jonesboro, Dylan Cater of Brookland, Hannah Cater of Brookland, Chris White of Jonesboro, Sarah Moore of Jonesboro and Damien and Felica Long of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by a great-grandfather, William Means; his grandmother, Michelle Wright. As well as his uncles, William Long and Ronnie Drew. A service will be 10:00 am Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Matt Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Tyre Cemetery near Cherry Valley. The visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave. in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Andrew Long, Damien Long and Tommy Lauderdale and as honorary pallbearers are Kyle McCain, Dylan and Jerry Cater.
