Obituary

Jonesboro- William Aaron Lofton, 42, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at his apartment in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was born July 8, 1976 in Jonesboro and he graduated from Jonesboro High School and attended Arkansas State University.

Aaron was an avid reader with a photographic memory. His recall ability was remarkable for facts, dates, and events. He had a deep love of family, especially for his grandmother, "Ma Ree" and his nieces. He will be remembered as a compassionate individual who wanted to reach out to anyone that may need a listening ear. He possessed warmth, kindness, and love unconditionally.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Fonda Lofton Mann and stepfather, Terry Mann; his brother, Adam Lofton and wife, Michele; beloved nieces, Olivia Maria Lofton, Elisabeth Jane Lofton and Emily Catherine Joullian Lofton; aunt, Anna Marie Bishop and cousin, Alan Belzung; aunt, Dana Bishop Spencer and husband Dan and cousins, Katy Spencer Hoover, Danielle Hoover and Andrew Spencer; cousins, Michael, Craig and Brad Crawley; uncle, Jack Lofton and aunt Nancy Lofton, cousins, Rebecca Lofton Altman, Kristi Lofton, Katie Lofton Bork, Laura Lofton Burditt and Jack Porter Lofton; uncle, Billy Lofton and cousins, Daniel Lofton and David Lofton; stepbrothers, Jason and Jonathan Mann and stepsister, Melissa Mann White; aunt, Paula Bishop and cousins, Jeri Bishop Tyler and Kristen Bishop Counce; stepmother, Deb Lofton and half-brother, Mark McPhillimy and many friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Al Lofton; grandparents, Bill and Marie Bishop and Bill and Rose Marie Lofton.

Memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, April 19, 2019 at The First Presbyterian Church at 710 Southwest Drive in Jonesboro with Rev. Matt Bussell and Rev. Emil Williams officiating.

Burial will be private under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm until time of service at the church.

The family would like to thank Raney English Taylor for handling all details to bring Aaron home and most especially for her love and support.
