William Wesley Hayes Jan 1, 1925 - Feb 6, 2012 William Wesley (Bill) Hayes departed this earthly life as the sun was rising on Feb 6 2012 at Randolph Home with his wife and family at his side. He was 87. Mr. Hayes was born at Ingram AR to the late Coleman Hayes \u0026 Pearl Rush Hayes on Jan 1, 1925. He married the love of his life, Elsie Mars on Oct 2, 1943. He served in the US Navy and was a farmer. He was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ronald Hayes, a brother, Coleman Hayes, Jr. and a sister, Laura Ramsey and 1 great granddaughter, Shelly Rainwater. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie Hayes, two daughters: Peggy Rainwater (David) and Netia Olvey (Bob). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Tony Rainwater, Ader Decker, Alicia Collett, David D Rainwater, Jeramie Hayes and Rob Olvey. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for William Wesley (Bill) Hayes will be Thursday afternoon at 2 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Phillip Rainwater officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 at McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mark Decker, Charles Collett, Gary Wayne Mars, Ricky Hayes, Dwain Hausman and Vernon Hausman. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hayes, Johnny Buckley and Delbert Mars. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
