O'Kean - William Bennett Haney, 86, died Thursday at Five Rivers Medical Center. He is survived by one son, William Haney of O'Kean; one daughter, Linda Harris of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren, Bryan Farmer of Pocahontas, Tina Stroud of O'Kean, Brittany Schmidt of Walnut Ridge and William Haney of Pocahontas; five great-grandchildren, Rhealyn Vivian Schmidt, Colton Stroud, Spencer Stroud, Bryson Coker Farmer and Olivia Blanche Farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Robert Haney and Laura B. Gates, and his wife, Vivian Foster. He served in United States Airforce during WWII as an airplane mechanic. William was also a lifetime member of the O'Kean Church of Christ and was also a retired farmer. Visitation will be 4 to 6 Saturday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 Sunday at Randolph Memorial Gardens, with Donnie Autry officiating
