William E. Foster, age 85, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

He was born on November 12, 1939, in Maynard, Arkansas, to the late Martin and Irene (Gould) Foster.

William was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elizabeth Flanigan.

William is survived by his loving wife, Betty Johnson Foster of the home; his children, David Foster of Pocahontas and Linda (Ricky) French of Mount Pleasant, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; his brother, James Foster; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm on January 2, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm with Nelson Henderson officiating, both in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Harold Blackwell, Aiden Blackwell and Ricky French.
