Bay- William Eugene "Cajun" Allen Jr., 72, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born April 13, 1950 in Lutcher, LA. His parents were Allen B. "Sappo" Roussel and Rose "Geetie" Roussel. He served his country proudly in the United State Navy from 1970 until 1977. William was an Industrial mechanic for Parker Hannifin in Trumann. He later worked at ASU Newport in landscaping and maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities and loved his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Roussel.

He was survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Karen Watts Allen; children, William Dirk Allen (Angela) of Bay, Justin Allen (Jenna) of Bedford, TX and Kara Elizabeth Allen (Jake) of Jonesboro; sisters, Melvina "Cookie" Matherne (Pete) of Grand Point, LA and Harriet Mitchell of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Jarrett Allen, Braxton Brown and Kendall Vicander and dearly loved nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House or American Cancer Society.
