Pocahontas - Willard Earl Baker, 96, passed away Sunday December 07, 2008 at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab. He was born June 01, 1912 in Springfield, MO to the late James Oscar Baker and Iletta Thomas. He is preceded in death by two brothers Ross and Neil Baker, and one sister Blanche Wisehart. He is survived by three children: Two sons, Willard Baker Jr. and David Baker, one daughter Dona Wadsworth. 7 grand children: Dean Baker, Stephanie Freemon, Tracy Swan, Carrie Morris, Brad Wadsworth, Toni Wadsworth, and Paige Baker. Eight great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Harris and brother, Roy Baker. Service will be held 10:00 Wednesday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Stubblefield Cemetery with Don Strait officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 Tuesday also in the Chapel. Memorials may be made to Cancer Society. Pallbearers include: Mike James, Max Oakley, Dean Baker, Daniel Harris, Randy Brooks, and David Welman.
