Jonesboro- Wilda Mae Harris, 84, passed beyond the spectral veil to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, February 27, 2014. She was born on August 19, 1930 at Beech Grove to the late Tony and Eula Farley. She served her country proudly in the Women's Army Corp, where she met her husband and married in Denver on October 14, 1951. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Mark and Ginger Harris of Bedford, Texas and Brock F. Harris M. D and Candice of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Christina Harris of Bedford, Zach Harris (Lauren) of Memphis and Chandler Harris (Amelia) of Jonesboro. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. W. "Jake" Harris; a sister, Verniel Shock; three brothers, Orman Farley, Norman Farley and Houston Farley. A private service will be held with Rev. Mark Massey at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. A special thanks to Linda Ivy, Peggy Lancaster, Brannon Treece M.
