Obituary

Wiburn "Willie" Dean Kimble Jr, 60, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born February 18, 1962 in Pocahontas to the late Wilburn Sr & Mary Weisenbach Kimble.  Willie was a graduate of Maynard High School, and a 38 year law enforcement veteran serving in numerous roles including Randolph County District Court Probation, Randolph County Deputy Sheriff, and for a short time Clay County Deputy Sheriff.  He was always busy and loved being outdoors.  He had the biggest heart and loved helping people.  He was the strongest man most have ever met.  Willie was of the Catholic belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Sr and Mary Kimble; and granddaughter, Raylynn Faye Kimble.

Willie is survived by his significant other, Corinne Allen Throesch; children, Logan (Amanda) Kimble of Jonesboro, Jacob (Elizabeth) Kimble of Cash, Kaylon (Brittany) Kimble of Cabot, Tyler Kimble of Pocahontas, Dakota (Cheyanne) Kimble of Maynard, Breanna (Yoanni) Estudillo of Pocahontas, and Bianca Manciaz of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Benjamin Kimble of Jonesboro, Samuel Kimble of Cash, Maddox Kimble of Cabot, Collin and Dawson Kimble of Maynard, Aden, Braxton, and Cash Kimble of Maynard, and Annabella Estudillo of Pocahontas; siblings, Cheryl Simpson of Maynard, Mitchell "Butch" (Christy) Kimble of Maynard, Diane (David) Ramsey of Pocahontas, Kenny (Gina) Kimble of Maynard, and Allen (Sherry) Kimble of Pocahontas; and many other relatives, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 4-7 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a Rosary being said at 7 PM by David Helms.  Funeral service will be Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 2 PM at Sutton Freewill Baptist Church with Hampton Owens officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery at Engelberg.  Celebrant for the committal service will be Father Stephen Elser.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are:  Kevin Bell, Zach Paschal, Cecil Tackett, Slade Weisenbach, Jesse Luffman, and Gary Tribble.
