Wayne Ruben Jeffries, Jr., 82, of Powhatan passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at his home.

He was born October 27, 1942 in Joplin, MO to the late Wayne R. and Audrey W. Wilkins Jeffries.  He worked as a foreman installing fiber optics and was of the Pentecostal belief.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Audrey Jeffries; first wife, Cynthia Jeffries; and by a great-grandchild, Bentley Dwyer.

He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Thomason Jeffries; son, Wayne R. Jeffries, III; step-son, Casey L. Ashley; granddaughter, Chelsey Jeffries; step-granddaughter, Maci Ashley; great-grandchildren, Paisley Dwyer and Zeppelin Rollins; sister, Ann Jeffries; and many other relatives and friends.

No services will be held.  Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
