Obituary

Bay- Wanda Gayle Wheeley, 68, began rowing to her celestial fishing hole on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 and cast her line beside our Lord at 8:15 pm.

She was born at home on July 15, 1951 in Jonesboro and was the seventh child born to her late parents, Earl L. and Virginia C. Johnson Wheeley. Wanda was of the Church of Christ belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack, Gerald and Kenneth Wheeley; first husband and father of her children, Leroy Daniels.

She is survived by her soulmate, Raymond Gene White, who made the last seventeen years the happiest of her life. She loved to travel and work flea-markets with Raymond in numerous states and towns making countless friends and touching many lives along the way.

She leaves two children and their families; daughter, Virginia R. "Ginger" and John Smith and their daughter, Jordyn all of Jonesboro; son, Jacob L. Daniels and his partner, Natasha Goff and their children, Levi Goff and Zoey Daniels all of Cash; her sisters, Helen Oden, Barbara (Richard) Hager, Marie (Larrie) Woodard; her brothers, Eddie Dean (Mable) Wheeley, Wayne (Lottie) Wheeley; sisters-in-law, Corene and Kay and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to all her blood relatives, she leaves behind many children and grandchildren of the heart. She had a huge heart and was loved by everyone who met her.

She seldom missed a fishing trip with her baby brother, Wayne, and his wife, Lottie, so per her request they will be taking her ashes to their favorite fishing hole when it warms up.
