Obituary
Rev. Wanda Lee Secrease of Harrisburg departed this life Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 93.
She was born July 26, 1926 in Moko, the daughter of Samuel Matthew Secrease and Ollie Belle Holloway Secrease. Wanda was a member of the Assembly of God and has been preaching since the age of 15. Through the years she has preached at Levesque, Valley View, Feltner, Heights Chapel and Parkin. She enjoyed baking and cooking and then delivering it to shut-ins. She also worked at Johansen Shoe Factory in Harrisburg for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers, Bill Secrease, Ted Secrease, Shannon Secrease, Cleo Secrease, Clay Secrease, Neal Secrease, and Roy Secrease, and 3 sisters, Frankie Booth, Velma Barnett and Glacine Booth.
She is survived by 1 brother, Harold Secrease of Ash Flat, AR and 38 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. David Mitchell officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
