Wanda Lou Loggains of Newport, AR passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Unity Health Harris Medical Center in Newport at the age of 78.

She was born April 7, 1944 near Schaeffer's Eddy in Biggers, AR the eldest daughter of the late Clifford Lavon Vanderver and Lucille "Lucy" Jane Jones.

Her brothers, Charlie Jones, Ernest Vanderver, and Carl Vanderver all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Ethel Cleveland and husband Paul of Pasadena, TX.

Wanda was married on July 22, 1960 to Lee Roy Loggains.  They enjoyed 60 wonderful years together serving as Jehovah's Witnesses.  This union brought forth five sons and two daughters.  She was preceded in death by both oldest son, Steven Lee in 2016 and her loving husband Lee Roy in 2020.

Surviving children are Wesley Loggains of Ravenden Springs, AR, Lonnie Loggains and wife Toby of Pocahontas, AR, Coy Loggains and wife Rosie of Ravenden, AR, ReBecca Rush of Potosi, MO, Buck Loggains and wife Janet of Pocahontas, AR, Ruth Hughes and husband Terry of Newport, AR.

Also surviving are twenty-one grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wanda was a lifelong caregiver, loving wife and beautiful mother who will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 3 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Newport, AR for any family or close friends wishing to attend.  For those unable to attend in person a live Zoom will be held to honor her memory.
