Wanda Pickett Hibbard Born August 18, 1921 to Robert L. and Johnnie E. Pickett, Wanda Pickett Hibbard departed her earthly life on July 13, 2008 at the age of 86. She was married to Alvin D. Hibbard who preceded her in death in 1990. Also preceding her in death was a son, Sammie Hibbard, a great granddaughter, Sydney Lindner, and her sister Juanita Clay. She is survived by four sons, Bobby, Lonnie (Peggy), Donnie (Debbie), Poncho (Amy), four daughters, Brenda (Henry) Lindner, Norma (Gary) Pickett, Sandra (Bruce) Tweedy, and Patsy Adams all of Pocahontas, eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren on the way, nieces, nephews and many friends and relatives. She also leaves behind her twin sisters, Annalee Brown of Pocahontas, Janavee Brown of Chicago and Gwen Thompson of Mountain Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, July 15, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home, with services Wednesday morning at 10:00 am in the chapel. Larry Owen will be officiating. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren. Burial will follow in Chesser Cemetery.
