Wanda Ann Ewing, 90, of Maynard passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born December 9, 1931 in Middlebrook to the late Glenn and Clida Graham Roberts.  She was the longtime dispatcher for the Maynard Volunteer Fire Department, loved animals, hummingbirds, watching her bird feeders, was a Cardinal fan, and a member of the Maynard Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Clida Roberts; and by her husband, Jesse Lynn Ewing.

Wanda is survived by her sons, Danny (Sherry) Ewing of Jonesboro, and Larry (Mary) Ewing of Maynard; grandchildren, Robert (Leigh Opalawski) Ewing of August, GA, Joanna (Andrew Warren) Ewing of Conway, Laura (Henry) Smith of Little Rock, and James Ewing of Maynard; and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be held at Maynard Church of Christ.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Ligie Waddell officiating.  Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maynard Volunteer Fire Department.
