Monette- Wanda Joy Dunigan Self, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at her home.

She was born January 1, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ to the late Edgar and Eva Davis Dunigan.  Joy retired from Monette Manor and she was a member of the Black Oak Church of Christ. She loved being with her family.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Everett Dunigan, Buddy Dunigan, JC Dunigan, Jimmy Dunigan and Linuel Dunigan; three sisters, Jo Golden, Vena Dunigan and Dora Dean Powell; two grandsons, Matthew Scott and Ryan Scott.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Tina Davis (Dennis). Mona Smith and Andrea Thompson (Scott) all of Black Oak; a brother, Edwin Dunigan of Monette; four grandchildren, John Scott, Allen Davis, Aaron Smith and Amanda Carter; eleven great-grandchildren, Sam, Blake, Jaxon, Wesley, Lane, Colton, Caitlyn, Presley, Layla, Jack and Molly; and many nephews and nieces and a special nephew, Dick Pace.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Black Oak Church of Christ with Eddie Dunigan officiating and eulogy by Johnny Wayne Dunigan. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons.
