Mrs. Wanda Lee Drum of Harrisburg, AR, departed this life Saturday, September 9, 2017, at her home, surrounded by family, at the age of 77.
She was born November 2, 1939 in Lake City, AR, the daughter of the late Archie Lawson and Thelma Tabor Lawson.
Wanda was a homemaker and former employee of American Greetings in Harrisburg. She married Roy Drum on May 24, 1958 and they enjoyed 59 years together. She was a member of the Hillside Pentecostal Church. She loved flowers, swimming, making crafts and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lucille Lawson and a granddaughter, Kaylie Drum.
She is survived by her husband Roy Drum of the home, five children, Judith Ezell (Tony), Karon Leonard (Mark), Sherman Drum, Jeff Drum (Leah), and Mitchell Drum (Lindy), all of Harrisburg, fourteen grandchildren, Beverly Drum (Gary), Brian Lewis, Brad Ezell, Jason Vest, Zane Leonard (Nicole), Rachelle Drum, Dylan Drum, Brayden Drum, John David Gardner (April), Jordan Gardner, Mary Beth Wallace, Travis Drum (Kenna), Katie Faulkner and Chase Faulkner, twelve great grandchildren, Blake, Jonathon, Jordan, Jenna, Connor, Keagan, Ace, Wyatt, Liam, Kinley, Layla, and Abel.
Wanda wanted to say thank you to her extended family and caregivers: Janice Morgan, JoAnna, Jerry and Jessie Allison, Debbie Mears, and Marie Brown. And Brian Lewis, when you thought I wasn't listening, I was!
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev David Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday afternoon, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tony Ezell, Brian Lewis, Brad Ezell, Travis Drum, Gary Drum and Jerry Allison. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Leonard, Beverly Drum, Jason Vest, Zane Leonard, Rachelle Drum, Dylan Drum, Brayden Drum, Katie Faulkner, Chase Faulkner, her great grandchildren and George Haner and Roger Gaskins.
