Wanda "Kay" Doran 69, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home.

Wanda was born in Pocahontas to the late Clifton Lee Doran and Bonnie Looney Doran in Pocahontas on February 26, 1954. She was a graduate of Couch Missouri School. She retired from the Jonesboro Sun where she had worked for approximately 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Bonnie Doran; sister, Jeweline Doran; brother, Lonnie Doran; maternal grandparents, Jace and Ida Looney; paternal grandparents, Jasper and Ava Doran.

She is survived by siblings, Ronnie Doran of Superior, AZ., Lelan "Ray" (Tonnia) Doran, Forgan, OK., and Bernetta (Jo) Hackworth of Harrisonville, MO. and her nieces and nephews that were just like her children.

Cremation has been chosen as final method of disposition.
