Obituary
Pocahontas- Wanda Lee Bass, 97, passed away Monday July 22,2019 at Randolph County Nursing Home.
She was born January 22,1922 in Pocahontas to the late Charles Wesley Parten and Mary Melissa Johnson Parten.
Wanda was preceded by her parents; son David Bass, daughter Patricia Ann Bass, brother Zeldon James and Preston Parten and sisters Fay Davis and Lucille Jones.
She is survived by sons, Lawson (Nora) Bass of Michigan and Alan Bass of Ohio; grandson Richard (Ashley) Bass of Michigan and great grandchildren Max and Emerson Bass also of Michigan. Many other nieces and nephews and friends and relatives.
Visitation will be Friday July 26,2019 from 11:00-12:00 with the funeral following at 12:00 in the chapel of McNabb Funeral home. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery with Hal Collier officiating.
