Jonesboro- Walter B. Bud Covington, 98, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1910 near Otwell to the late David Nathaniel and Lucy Covington. He was a retired farmer, having farmed for 67 years. He graduated from Jonesboro High School where he was All-State in football and basketball.
