Little Rock- Walter Ervin Catlett, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was born September 14, 1947 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Ervin Arthur and Helen Virginia Owens Catlett. He was a youth director in the mid 1980's for Parkview Missionary Baptist Church. He was a past president of the VICA organization, a member of Who's Who, played the trumpet and was onAll-State Band member. He enjoyed fishing, football and baseball. He was survived by his daughter and husband, Brandy and Gary Humphrey of Jonesboro; an uncle, Landon Owens of Trumann; four grandsons, Alex Newcom, Noah Stone, Jacob Stone and Braxton Humphrey all of Jonesboro. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Lottie Ann Owens, Walter Owens, Ervin and Myrtle Catlett. A visitation to celebrate his life will be from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Service will be private.
