Obituary

Bay- Wako Massey, 77, was born August 11, 1937 and departed this life into heaven on March 11, 2015. He was the son of Fairel and Verna Anderson Massey. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Bay. He loved his family, his church family and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had devoted his life to his family and church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Millis Massey; a sister-in-law, Dalphany Massey. He is survived by two brothers and their wives, Afton and Patsy Massey of Jonesboro and Milford and Zada Massey of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters, Predith Massey Hudgens (Gary) of Wentzville, Missouri and Loretta Massey Taylor (Earl Dean) of Kennett, Missouri; a very special cousin, Ulyess Woody and his wife Norma of Mountain View and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating. Burial to follow at Pine Log Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home at 300 W. Matthews Ave. in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Randy Mink, Chad Colvert, Chad Robbins, Bill Newton, Dale Woods and Tommy Hancock and as honorary pallbearers the Men's Class at Bay First Baptist Church. Lasting memorials may be sent to Bay First Baptist Church Building Fund.
