Vivian Mae Boozer Mars departed this life on February 9, 2020 at the age of 83.

She was born November 19, 1936 to James Orville and Mary Jane Cherry Boozer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Mars; husband and father of her children, Shelby Thompson; husband, Eldon Maynard; daughter, Beverly Carol Bates; siblings, Charlie, Opal, Flora, Albert, John, Roy, and Margaret; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters; Joyce (David) Butterfield of Doniphan, MO, Debra (Mitch) Jones of Reyno, and Thelma Powers of Pocahontas; two sons, Norman Thompson of Delaplaine and Jimmy (Michelle) Thompson of Ravenden; 20 grandchildren, Stephanie, Brian, Amanda, Nicholas, Lisa, Misty, Shelby, LaShea, Marie, Jimmy Joe, Kalem, Kevin, Katrina, Ashley, Amber, Justin, Chris, Matthew, Charles and Chasity; 38 great grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Bryson of DeKalb, TX, Carolyn Merwether of Walnut Ridge, and Ann Duncan of Pocahontas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 1 PM with Jerry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers include: Nicholas Thompson, Brian Simkins, Matthew Canales, Kalem Thompson, Adrian Hurst, and Jason Brockunier.

Honorary pallbearers include: Shelby Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Jimmy Joe Bates, Charles Juarez, and Justin Braden.
