Brookland- Vivian Brown, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

She was born December 23, 1948 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Bert and Chinie Wilson Gibbons. She was a retired LPN with Arkansas Human Development Center. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, traveling, and making up recipes and loved spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Jerrod Brown and Nicole Miller (Scott) all of Jonesboro and Kimberly Tinnon (Edward) of Brookland; grandchildren, Zachery Tinnon, Drew Brown (April), Drake Miller, Jillian Miller and Morgan Miller; a great-granddaughter, Lennox Brown; brothers, Harold Gibbons (Darlene), Carroll Gibbons (Media Sue) and Truman Gibbons (Phyllis): fur baby, Itsy and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jerry E. Brown in 2016; four sisters and four brothers.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Dale Gibbons and David Gibbons officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Drake Miller, Drew Brown, Jack Cole, Jerry Cole, David White and Andy White and as honorary pallbearer, James Banks.
