Pocahontas- Vitus Thielemeir, 92, passed away May 3, 2017 at home.

Vitus was born June 15, 1924 in Running Lake, AR to Ben and Catherine Baltz Thielemeir. He served his country in the Navy during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence, BJ and Dr. Corneil Thielemeir; sisters Loyola "Lee" Mondy and Esther Wurtz.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Thielemeir of the home; sister, Mary Ann Graddy of Clover Bend; brother, Peter Paul Thielemeir of Pocahontas; brothers-in-law, William Patrick (Alta) Wilson of Bonne Terre, MO, and John Algie Wilson of Pocahontas.

Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5-7 pm with a rosary beginning at 7 pm at McNabb Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father Mariadass Vallapaneni officiating. Burial in St. Paul Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Steve Graddy, Jim Mondy, Howard Thielemier, Geary Thielemier, Roy Thielemier and John Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Joshua Brooks and Lawrence Steimel
