Obituary
Yuma, Arizona-Virginia Hogan Wells, 88, formerly of Monette, died Thursday, October 17, 2019.
She was born in Vian, Oklahoma, she grew up in Monette, where she attended and graduated from Monette High School. She was a homemaker and a long time employee of Walmart in Jonesboro.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Wells (Cherie) of Banning, California; a daughter, Shirley Baker (Doug), of Yuma, Arizona; four grandchildren, Cole and Jarred Wells of Banning, California, Michael Sharp of Corning, California and Tommy Sharp of Greely, Colorado; a brother, Jerry Hogan of Jonesboro; a sister, Christean Haley of Maumelle; a nephew, Scott Hogan of Austin, Texas; a niece, Mary Haley Garrett, of Maumelle, and a host of beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Ray) Wells; her parents, Stanford and Katie Hogan, and a nephew, Charles Haley.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 1, 2019, in the Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating with Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children\u0027s Research Hospital in Memphis.
