Black Oak- Virginia Louise Myers, 73, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her home.

She was born October 27, 1948 in Manila to the late Cliff and Mary Jane Hicks Peyton. She had worked for many years at Ashley Lighting. She enjoyed reading and going to town (Walmart etc.).

She was survived by her husband, David Myers; her children, Mary Henson and David Myers; a brother, Clifford Peyton; grandchildren, Jenni Hellenthal , Sarah Anglin, Dustyn Myers and Cortney Myers; great-grandchildren Riley Hellenthal, Brenna Hellenthal, Rayden Ballin, Kalani Cavazos, Swayzie Cavazos and Enrique Cavazos III.

She was also preceded in death by sisters, Louise Gernhart, Billie Hultquist and brother, Ralph Peyton.

A celebration of her life will be noon Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Interment will follow at Macey Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
