Virginia Lucille (Million) Hogan, 94, of Pocahontas, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021.
She was born in the Sutton Community, January 4, 1926 to Amburs H. and Mary Ella Wagner Million.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Pocahontas. She was a member Eastern Star and served as worthy Grand Matron. Virginia worked and volunteered at Randolph County Hospital. She also was a Hospice volunteer along with being active in the Red Cross blood drive. She was extremely active in Church and community and received many awards and accolades for her volunteerism. She also worked at TRW Electronics for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Paul Hogan, of 27 years; her parents; five sisters, Mildred Snyder, Gladys Winebaugh, Pauline Conner, Mary Jane Kellett, Barbara Million; two brothers, Rural Lavelle and Hamil Million.
She is survived by Barbara (Windy) Barnes of Pocahontas, Lavelle (Jeanette) Hogan, Paul Dean (Dottie) Hogan of Nashville, TN, Debbie (Ken) Brunner of Paragould; grandchildren, Rodger, Toney, Angie and Kevin Barnes, Patrick Hogan, Audra Harmon, Michael Hogan, Paul Dean Hogan Jr. Kristen and Shawn Brunner; Fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; Special brother-in-law Russel Winebaugh and sister-in-law Shirley Million; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be at First Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. with the service following at 1:00 P.M. The service will be broadcasted in the parking lot of First Free Will Baptist Church by tuning into FM 91.1. Burial will follow at Sutton Cemetery.
Pallbearers are the grandchildren: Paul Hogan Jr., Paul Hogan III, Shawn Brunner, Rodger Barnes, Tony Barnes, Kevin Barnes, Michael Hogan, Tristan Hogan, and Bryce Decker.
