Harrisburg - Virginia Michelle Church, 44, of Harrisburg passed away July 21, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born March 12, 1973 in Memphis, TN to Don Smart Sr. and the late Patsy Ann Musselwhite- Smart. Virginia was a homemaker and had a heart for helping those around her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Church; son, Stephen J. Smart (Jessica); daughter, Lindsey Ann Church; father, Don Smart Sr.; grandmother, Annie Smart and two grandchildren, Jaylynn and Waylon Smart all of Harrisburg; a brother, Don Smart Jr (Jennifer); and two nieces, Kristen and Allyson Smart all of Cabot.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Ann Smart; paternal grandfather, L.V. Smart and maternal grandparents, Perry and Ruth Musselwhite.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Gregg Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Rev. Ricky Jensen officiating. Interment will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 pm.
