Pocahontas- Virginia (Dobbie) Castleman, 77, passed away at St. Benards Medical Center on Saturday October 11, 2008. Born March 30, 1931 in Imboden, Arkansas. She was the Sixth of eight children born to the late Pansy Ellen and Rhea Starr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pocahontas. She is Survived by her husband Bob, her Sons Richard and wife Diane Castleman of Pocahontas and Bobby Castleman of Imboden, her daughter Pam McIntosh of Leslie, Arkansas, six grandchildren: Mikemark Castleman, Virginia McCord, Elizabeth Castleman, Jerrod Castleman, Katie McIntosh and Michael McIntosh. Also her loving sisters and their spouse, Mary Pope, Ruth and Cecil Potter, Roberta and Kenneth Stephens and her wonderful brothers and their spouses Herbert Starr, Everett and Hazel Starr and Rhea Jr. And Peggy Starr. She also had many nephews and nieces that she loved dearly. She was preceded by one sister Lillian Hackworth. Graveside services will be at 10:00 Tuesday at the Hope Cemetery in Imboden with Herbert Starr officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 at the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers include: Donald Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, Mooney Starr, Terry Depriest, Mikemark Castleman, Jerrod Castleman, Michael McIntosh, Ronald Potter.
