WALNUT RIDGE-Mrs. Violet Odell Tidwell, age 69, died Friday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She is the daughter of the late James Henry and Tina Taylor Tribble. She is also preceded in death by her brother, J. W. Tribble. She is survived by her husband, Troy William Tidwell of the home, 2 sons, Rev. Rodger Tidwell of Walnut Ridge and Perry Tidwell of Jonesboro; 3 daughters, Cathy Tyler and Dathney Grooms of Pocahontas and Kay Huddleston of Walnut Ridge; 1 brother, Arvil Tribble of Pocahontas; 1 sister, Laveta Morgan of Corning, 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodger Tidwell, Perry Tidwell, Terry Tyler and Hillard Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
