Vida Marie Doran, 106, of Pocahontas departed this life on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Randolph County Nursing Home.

She was born on June 13, 1920, to the late Pearlie Murphy Bounds and Modena Mae Bellah at Elm Store, AR. She was of Baptist Faith. She married Lehman Lee Doran on June 20, 1938, at the age of 18 in Alton, MO and together they ran the family farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearlie and Modena Bounds; husband, Lehman Lee Doran; son-in-law, Woodrow Mathews; siblings, Clifton, Orville, and I.M. Bounds, Leta Lane, Essie Bounds, Pauline Green, and Pearlene Helms.

She is survived by her children, Joyce Mathews of Pocahontas and Roger (Sandra) Doran of Gatewood, MO; sister, Willa Dean Shaver; grandchildren, Dale Doran, Tammy Stewart, Mitchel Mathews, Suzann Tweedy, and JoEll Bowers; sixteen great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 5, 2026, at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dale Doran, Mitchel Mathews, Kenneth Bowers, Justin Bowers, Jonathan Stewart, Michael Reagan, Tyler Remington Todd Bowers, and Lee Tweedy.
