Jonesboro - Mrs. Vickie Lynn Bandy, 66, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
Vickie was born in Blytheville on September 23, 1952 to the late C.B. and Velma Miller Gentry. She worked for 12 years at the Northeast Arkansas Federal Credit Union and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Vickie enjoyed cooking and decorating her home.
She leaves behind her beloved fur babies, Petey Bear Bandy and Amber Renee Bandy. Her only blood kin is Scott Franklin Hyde of Dell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Olan Bandy; her sister, Patsy Louise Hyde-Layton and her beloved poodles, Susie, Cissy and Lily Ann.
Vickie would like to give a special thanks to Teresa Morgan for all her loving support and help, she and her family, James Thomas Morgan, Jeremy Morgan, Conway Morgan and the late James L. Morgan, gave her. Also a thanks to Dr. Corey Diamond and Dr. Anthony Lamkin.
A celebration of her life will be held on 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Keith Milam, Rocky Lindsey, Zack Worley, Jamie Salzer and Craig Burns and honorary pallbearers, Phil Cook and Lee Barnett.
