Bono- Veta Mae Meurer, 79, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 3, 1933 at Cherry Valley to the late Walter and Roxie Douglas. Mrs. Meurer was a homemaker and a member of the Bono Church of Christ. She enjoyed her Bible classes and was a member of the TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) Group for many years.
