Verna Margaret Plank passed away peacefully at her home on Plank's Late Start in Pocahontas, AR on July 12, 2021.

Verna was born on December 16th, 1929, in Daviess County, Kentucky. She was the eldest of 13 children born to the late Hazel and Chester Hardin.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Howard Sander Plank; daughter, Debbie Roberts (Michael) of Owensboro, KY; daughter, Charlene Bledsoe (Robert) of Louisville, KY; daughter, Lori Difani (Phillip) of Rogers, AR; son, Kevin Bates (Sabrina) of Katy, TX; and daughter, Michelle Counts (Garrett) of Pocahontas, AR; 12 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and a host of close loving family and friends.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who adored her family and was happiest when they were all together. She was a great hostess whose class and elegance proceeded her. Gardening, traveling, tennis, golf, winning at cards and cheering on her grandchildren were her passions. As matriarch of her family, she was an incredibly strong woman who will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Visitation services will be held at McNabb Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
