Velma Wilson, 82, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 in her home. Born June 24, 1927; she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson, daughter, Judy Haney, parents Carson and Dora Haley and 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by 2 sons, Dave (Shenna) Wilson and Chris (Melinda) Crum of Pocahontas; 2 daughters, Jane Brown of Pocahontas and Jan (Doyle) Dillingham of Ravenden Springs; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Tim Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow to Sutton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
